Posted - 07/04/2015 : 22:32:44 The var. fasciolata is only the most common habitus of females. The white antennomere usually is a feminine character. |

it is Glenea (Acutoglenea) versuta fasciolata Aurivillius, 1924 which has also third antennomera with white hairs. Sorry, too tired tonight. |

Posted - 07/04/2015 : 20:40:44 But still unclear : Glenea (Acutoglenea) extensa Pascoe, 1858 is unknown from Philippines ... |

Posted - 07/04/2015 : 20:13:03 Your last specimen, Sergi, should be Glenea (Acutoglenea) versuta fasciolata Aurivillius, 1924 as specimens seen at MNHN-Paris. I don't know the validity of this subspecies/morpha.
....But I just remark white hairs on antenna, and in this case, it seems to be Glenea (Acutoglenea) extensa Pascoe, 1858 ! |

Posted - 28/09/2014 : 11:37:04 Yes. I think that maura is no a subspecies but only the melanistic form of some males. In Mindanao, females have this pattern, which corresponds tho the form fasciolata. |
