I have several all black specimens from Mindanao that were identified by Hudepohl as G. niveopectus Aurivillius, 1926. Some recently collected specimens which I have from Mindanao have a very thin line of whitish color extending along the outside of the elytra from the humerus towards the apex.

Thank you JP,

The legs on the type are more reddish, but otherwise a very good match.
