21 mm, male, Thabok, Borikhamxay Province, Laos. 300m, IV.2023, collected by my friend Steeve Collard: Saperdoglenea gleneoides Breuning, 1964.
This species moves along slope vegetation at a height of 1.5 m. from the ground, like the arboreal tiger beetles of the genera Collyris Fabricius, 1801 or Tricondyla Latreille, 1822 (Coleoptera, Cicindelidae), evoking a form of behavioral mimicry.
