Can you help me with identification of this species from Malaysia, Cameron Highlands?
The size of specimen is 15 mm.

This species is present (and also sold) in the Web as A. (Paranancylus) socius Pascoe, 1865 (a species from Borneo and Philippines), but the presence of the ridge on the elytral basis clearly implies its belonging to the subgenus Pseudanancylus Breuning, 1935.
It is Anancylus basalis Gahan, 1906, described from Perak.
