Slightly reminds C. butuana, but has more regular pattern.

It might be a male of Cacia (Ipocregyes) vermiculata Heller, 1923, such as the female I inserted in the gallery.
Actually, the differences between vermiculata and butuana are slight. I identified both specimens present in the site Sulabugang, which seem to belong to typical specimens.
According to Heller, butuana has disconnected transversal bands and the 4th antennomere with apical black hairs (missing in vermiculata), this character being less evident in males.
Nonetheless, your specimen seems to have mixed characters; so, I think they might be variety of the same species. |
