I am copying here the description of Demodes bimaculata from Breuning, 1947.
Difficult to say whether this is the same species. Probably not, as the description does not mention sutural spots.

Yes, it is very similar. I saw earlier this image, therefore I offered this hypothesis with Demodes.
Many thanks for your time, Francesco!

... actually your specimen seems to have all characters of Demodes and its pattern is very alike to D. albomaculata von Breuning, 1939 from Sumatra.
Unfortunately, I think I have no description of this only Laotian species (D. bimaculata von Breuning, 1947)

Yes, certainly, here, if it will help. This beetle from a "window trap", therefore it is undesirable for unsticking from a glue board - it will ruinous.
Well, at least, one species of Demodes is noted for Laos. I do not exclude, as Malayan species can have enough wide areal.

Very, very nice!
It belongs surely to Mesosini but is not present in Breuning's monograph (1938-39).
Demodes is an interesting suggestion but it has a Malayan-Philippine distribution.
Can I have a lateral view in order to search the genus?
