That's exactly the same species as mine Greg from external characters. Mine does't appear that greasy, I take my photos with flash.

Hi,
I have the same problem with determinig it. I attach a photo of a male of this species. Data is the same.
The holotype is different. It has a smooth pronotum. Our species has four distinct tubercles at the base of elytra.
Can it be anything new?

Are there any household products I can use to degrease? Currently stuck indoors. Thanks.

Have you tried to degrease it?

Thank you, they are all so very similar, mine seems a bit different though?

it seems to be Mesosa (Perimesosa) binigrovittipennis Breuning, 1968.
Holotype here.
