Posted - 23/07/2012 : 19:37:21 After careful examination, I think it is a female of Coptops annulipes Gahan, 1864 (confront here and here). In fact, the cerambycid has 3 (actually 5) bulges on the pronotum; this means Mesosa (Saimia) or Coptops. But it is too short for the former genus; moreover, the antennomere III is long as scape (longer in Mesosa). The elytral white band is present (though damaged here) and the position of the black spots is analogue. The legs also have similar dark rings. |
