This is a perplexing genus. I have seen about 10 specimens like this or very similar. The markings on the elytra are variable and the sizes of the specimens are variable. Years ago, I sent a specimen (like this or close to this) to Holzschuh and he said it was undescribed. In 1998, I sent a specimen (like this or very close) to Hudepohl, and he called it C. antennatus Thomson. So what can I tell you !! I don't know. |

Thanks! I had Cenodocus granulosus.
Looks evidently different (pronotum shape, shoulders, pattern, etc..). So, if the first is C. granulosus or close to, what is this one? |

It's Cenodocus granulosus Pascoe, 1866 or extremely close..
It's illustrated in color in
Pascoe, F. P. 1866a. Catalogue of longicorn Coleoptera collected in the island of Penang by James Lamb, Esq. (Part I). Proceedings of the Scientific Meetings of the Zoological Society of London. 1866: 222-267. 3 pls. (XXVI-XXVIII).
I haven't compared against the type. There is also at least one new species in the genus from Sabah |

It might be Cyardium Pascoe, 1866. |
