The second species is not Cyardium variegatum based on what I have seen identified by others in Europe.

There are undescribed Cyardium and Cenodocus in Borneo. It may not be possible to separate those two genera in every case.

Je remonte ce poste, le deuxième serais plutôt Cyardium malaccense Breuning, 1968 ou Cyardium variegatum Aurivillius, 1913.
Surement les mêmes espèces.

When I put this species side by side with what I have as Cyardium obscurum, it sure does not look the same. The punctuation is completely different, the lenght-width elytra ratio is not the same, elytral tips differ...
Must then be the similar new species.

Hudepohl (1998) said this was Cyardium obscurum Aurivillius, 1925 or a similar new species. I have not seen the type either.
