The second species is not Cyardium variegatum based on what I have seen identified by others in Europe.
There are undescribed Cyardium and Cenodocus in Borneo. It may not be possible to separate those two genera in every case. |

Je remonte ce poste, le deuxième serais plutôt Cyardium malaccense Breuning, 1968 ou Cyardium variegatum Aurivillius, 1913.
Surement les mêmes espèces.

When I put this species side by side with what I have as Cyardium obscurum, it sure does not look the same. The punctuation is completely different, the lenght-width elytra ratio is not the same, elytral tips differ...
Must then be the similar new species. |

Hudepohl (1998) said this was Cyardium obscurum Aurivillius, 1925 or a similar new species. I have not seen the type either. |
