7 mm. Should belong to Similosodus. Reminds S. transversefasciatus (Breuning, 1938)

In fact, this species should be Similosodus unifasciatus (Pic, 1934) like the type here

Yes, Pic's descriptions are too short and lack of illustration; I will try to make a picture of the type specimen someday...

Thank you. This may be the case. It is pity only that a white fourth antenna segment is not mentioned in the description.

To follow, the original description of Similosodus atrofasciatus (Pic, 1925). I think it could be this species...

I have same specimens from Laos. It's not Similosodus (Transversesodus) transversefasciatus , but a Similosodus s.s.

With Breuning's key in Laos fauna, 1970):
third antennal segment longer than fourth ......Similosodus sg
third antennal segment as long as fourth.......Transversesodus sg
