A pair of L. vittatus from N-Vietnam fits well to the HT!

Type picture of Lychrosimorphus vittatus Pic, 1925 is available here.
For me , it's your species, Larry : same hairs on third antennal segment, 3 black marks at elytra apex.
Larry Bezark Posted - 28/08/2014 : 18:48:44
I agree Xavier, mine seems to match the black and white image, but is very different from the image you linked.

Thanks for looking for the type.

With Gérard, we think at all that this one is a good L. rotundipennis comparing to the type picture (by Ohbayashi).
Your specimen seems different: other white part on elytra, white longitudinal line on pronotum, hairy antennae ... Sorry !
I will check types in MNHN in September... may be your species is a new one ?

Larry Bezark Posted - 28/08/2014 : 04:50:04
Yes, it seems to match well, thanks guys.

Merci, Gerard,

Hopefully someone has the Breuning citation.
Is there a place with Breuning's papers online?
I have very few if any of his papers.

Thank you forum members.
