Hi all
I am really confused as to what species of Callimetopus this is.

Some say it is ornatus, but I have them already and they are completely different.
Any help appreciated.

05-06-13 - Mt.Balocaue - Leyte Island - Philippines - 24mm

Cheers
Ben

Yes, it's Callimetopus antonkozlovi Barsevskis 2016.
- C antonkozlovi : the antennomeres iv-v-vi and basal vii are with dense white pubescence
- C variolosus : these antennomeres are with very sparse white pubescence

Is this now Callimetopus antonkozlovi Barsevskis 2016?

Thanks.

Thanks

Have you access to that article, and where can I get it?
Thanks

Bonjour, je remonte ce poste.
Le vrais Callimetopus ornatus est bien la bęte présentée par Vives dans sa publication.
Voici un dessin et la description de Niphonoclea ornata Schultze, 1934.

Callimetopus ornatus it is then.
Thanks very much.

Ps. If anyone can shed light on what this other species is, then I would be very appreciative.

I have two of these in my collection.

Indeed I have identified this beast one can quickly. Me too I had put this name in my collection. If anyone has published them by Schultze, I only have that 1920 have found the library of the forum.

Ben, I will have to check, your beetles are Callimetopus.

I may have copied the wrong name for the picture there.
I will definitely put your image in there as C ornatus and try to find out what the other is.
I always appreciate accurate updates to the website.

OK, I checked, the image on my website is from Les Cahiers NS #3. and it does say Callimetopus ornatus.
Does anyone know what the image really is?

For me it Callimetopus ornatus (Schultze, 1934) to confirm.
