Location: Kerala, south India. size: 11 mm...The species has similar pronotal vittae as P. vitticollis...is there any other species with such banding?...in fact, when I first saw these specimens from a distance, I got confused them for a Sthenias sp. because of its striking similarity of pronotal and elytral banding but only to realize later that it should be a Pterolophia
