Not sure on this one.
Data: 18-12-16 - 18 km SSE of Honiara - Koso Village environ 500-600 m - Guadalcanal Island - Solomon Islands - South Pacific

Prosoplus... truncate elytra with white band is an unusual combination.
With the key I reach P. pseudobasalis Breuning, 1938 and P. sinuatus Breuning, 1938 (both present in Guadalcanal), but I do not think that it belongs to these species
