Posted - 07/03/2018 : 21:41:35 At first look if it is the genus Pseudotragiscus, which seems most likely, or Falsotragiscus with its only species holdhausi, but it is not the insect here! Also look at the genus Spilotragus, which with Falsotragiscus would be good to redefine as both are not very distinguishable. Or also the genus Paraspilotragus?
Pseudotragiscus 1 sp: venus Falsotragischus 1 sp holdhausi Spilotragus 7 sp: S. clarkei, which in my opinion is the same thing as S. mourgliai and maybe even the same thing as Falsotragiscus holdhausi (which was classified within the original Spilotragus!)? Everything is a question of stains .... I do not see anything consistent in the descriptions? But we should see the types. guttatus (Jordan) Ornatus (Gahan) variabilis Breuning xanthus Jordan
I hope you have a little guided? |
