He Bill, your specimen could be also Gnathoenia tropica. One of the main difference is the third antenal joint longer then the fourth on venerea while equal or shorter on tropica. |

Claude: I checked and I have a series of 7 of them and they all look like this one. The pronotums are all the same greyish color. |

May be a dusty Gnathoenia venerea female ? (the pronotum color should be orange) |
