The correct name should be gaurani, as in the original description here (correctly quoted by Löbl & Smetana, 2010).

The emendation "gaujani" proposed by Teocchi (1998) is "unjustified" according to the ICZN Art. 33.2.
In fact, Gasponia gaujani n. gen. n. sp. appears at p. 82, but the description (p. 123) mentions Gasponia gaurani.
The first name is nomen nudum; moreover, the species was named after Mr. Gauran.

Considering that gaurani and penicillata does not show an interbreeding area, they must be considered as two vicariant species, as Adlbauer (1997) correctly stated.

Gasponia gaurani is a rather different species (see here).

I would assume, Gasponia gaujani penicillata.

Regards
Ben
