I do not think that H. obscurator (described from Guinea) is really present in Austral Africa.
This specimen is evidently different from the true obscurator (here).
The pronotum (and the distribution) fits H. tenebrioides.

Thanks Jérôme, also believe this is Hecyra obscurator, was a bit worried about Hecyra terrea (Bertoloni, 1849) but see the pronotum is different.

Ne me semble pas être H obscurator ?
