I'll look for a less worn specimen. There is a short ridge in the apical part of elytra in my specimens, and with such beetle condition, it is difficult to say whether this ridge had a tuft of bristles or not. Besides, with such worn specimens, it was difficult to see whether they have oblique light bands in elytra or not. If yes, I would also arrive at C. costiger. One can see the traces of two oblique bands in fact.

Corus burgeoni présente une ponctuation très serrée sur le pronotum. Par ailleurs il ressemble assez à Corus cretaceus.
Sur burgeoni il y a 3 gros tubercules sur chaque élytre, 1 en forme de dent à la base un second placé à la fin du cinquième basilaire et un troisième situé un peu après le milieu, tous les trois dans le même alignement.
Les articles antennaires sont annelés de blanc à leur apex
Une bande jaune latérale parcoure le pronotum.
Téocchi le donne proche de C costiger ce qui est aussi un peu vrai car les Corus dans leur ensemble sont particulièrement difficiles à étudier à part 4 ou 5 espèces bien singulières.En tous cas sur la photo et ce que j'en vois, ça ma l'air d'être C costiger Qued. ? A vous de regarder les différences ....

Difficult with Breuning.
I arrive at Corus burgeoni, but it is dubious, considering that this species is found in Congo and Malawi.
I'll look for more specimens. |
