Following the respective descriptions:

-3rd antennomere barely longer than the 4th-> Ostedes ochreosparsus Breuning, 1965

-3rd antennomere = 4th antennomere = 5th antennomere -> Parostedes tonkinensis Breuning, 1977

Almost all the other characters given by Breuning seem to be common to both species.

Yes,you are right, very similar to Ostedes ochreosparsus Breuning, 1956. I have same specimens from Laos, not far from south Yunnan. But why do you think it is not placed in the good genus? I wonder what is the difference beetween the 2 species...

It seems a true Parostedes tonkinensis Breuning, 1977
