The valid name for Apomecyna cantator Gressitt, 1940 is Apomecyna saltator (Fabricius, 1787).

Following Gressitt ( Laos fauna, 1970. Fig. 9g. ), it should be Apomecyna saltator niveosparsa Fairmaire, 1895 . |
