I found an old picture of a spm (O. variegata) preserved in the FREY-Coll. in Basel, with the typical white small spots

Thank you Francesco.

May be i'll try to collect more information regarding this.

Not a lot: the type (Institut Royal des Sciences Naturelles de Belgique) was described from Bengal: Karsiyang (Kurseong).

This species is very close to Orcesis variegata (Fisher, 1933), described just from Karnataka (South Mangalore), which differs in the elytra covered with very small white spots.
In my opinion, your specimen might also belong to this last one.

This genus is nearly exclusively Australian.
I think that your specimen belongs to Apomecynini
