Actually, there are no copyright problems inserting a small part of a book and quoting the source (Hua et alii, 2008 - Iconography of Chinese Longicorn Beetles (1406 Species) - Suan Yat-sen University Press, 474 p.)

I did not manage to find this characteristic species in Breuning's key (1964), but your beetle is singularly similar to Sybra (s. str.) narai Hayashi, 1976 from Taiwan.
I have a (bad) picture of this species in a Chine book, which I will send you together with the scans of the papers about Cacia.
No wonder that a Taiwanese beetle could be present in Vietnam as well (or viceversa).

A lateral picture might be sufficient; however, this group is very difficult and rich in species.
This species is similar (but different!) to Sybra mediomaculata (Heller, 1924) from the Philippines. |

Thank a lot for answer! Sybra... It is my initial idea, I do not now, why I to chuck in. However, it is very strange and peculiar Sybra.
Unfortunately, at this moment me difficult to do the good picture of ventral sides, hope, with my sides will not be impolite if I come picture later. |

mmmhm.. I do not think because this genus is not present there.
It is probably a Sybra, but it will be difficult to identify the species...
Possibly, I need additional informations (e.g. ventral side). |
