It is not Sybra lateralis.
With a description or Breuning's Key (1964) it is not possible the determination of the most Sybra!
For me in the moment your species is Sybra cf. posticalis.
Sorry.... I can't help anymore at the moment. |

116. Sybra lateralis.,
Der minuta Pic (als Ropica beschrieben) nahe stehend, aber schmäler, der Halsschild dichter punktiert, die Flügeldecken apikal schief abgestutzt (die Randecke nicht spitzig). Rötlich, der Halsschild ohne Zeichnungen, die Seitenrandmakel der Decken weniger dunkel, sie erreicht nicht die Naht und nähert sich derselben nur nach der Mitte, nach rückwärts ist sie breit mit der preapikalen Randmakel verbunden die Beine und Fühler nicht teilweise angedunkelt. 4 1/2 mm. Typ von der Halbinsel Malakka: Singapore im britischen Museum.

Larry's photo of Sybra lateralis Breuning 1942 is also very interesting but the specimen is from Kalimantan.
The species also known from Malaysian peninsula, Singapore: it is not so far... |

Maybe with a little preference for Sybra brevelineata (Pic,1926).
I found the original description:
Ropica brevelineata n. sp. Sat elongatus, griseo pubescens, niger, antennis pedibusque pro majore parte rufis, antennis pedibusque pro majore parte rufis; thorace fulvo trilineato, lineis externis reductis, sat elongato, fortiter sat sparse punctato; elytris lineao-punctatis, pro parte substriatis, ad humeros reducte fulvo bilineatis, postice diverse fulvo maculatis. Long. 5 mill. Tonkin. - Voisin de posticalis Pasc., très distinct par son revêtement particulier.
It matches but it's insufficiently precise to be sure... |

Yes, near posticalis Pascoe, brevelineata Pic (than Breuning,F.E.S,1939,5:266 cited as synonyn of posticalis) and so on until minutior Breuning, 1939.
I don't know the type of all these related species. |
