I have this as Paretaxalus mucronatus (Schwarzer, 1931) But, the type species of Paretaxalus is P. sandacanus Breuning.
A paper was just submitted to Cahiers synonymizing Paretaxalus with another genus and returning P. mucronatus to its original combination for the time being.
"mucronatus" may be better suited to the genus Sesiosa or something else, or something new.
I am sure there are many Pteropliini and small Lamiinae that are in the wrong genus, or even the wrong tribe.

Very possible.

Isn't this a Pteropliini?
