I don't think it's G quadridentatus.
Breuning, 1950 also described G siamensis but the elytral pattern is different (with gold postmedian mark).
From the indochinese region (S-China included), I don't know any other species. Probably it's new... |

as it turns out, both of my specimens have the 3rd antennal segment longer than the scape (as in auratus), however this one is different than the type of auratus.
I would like to see an image of quadridentatus.

Mimoenispia quadridentata Pic, 1936 Mél. exot. Ent., LXVII, p. 18.
Proche de hamatus Pasc., mais plus grand, les épines discales du pronotum non recourbées et moins longues, les épines latérales du pronotum minimes, les lobes inférieurs des yeux aussi longs que les joues, le tubercule dentiforme postbasilaire de l'élytre plus élevé; sur chaque élytre une bande transversale basilaire brune, une autre bande médiane pareille descendant obliquement en direction de la suture et une troisième bande brune préapicale descendant très obliquement en direction du bord latéral; le restant de l'élytre couvert de pubescence jaune d'ocre.
Long.: 9 mm; larg.: 2 mm.

Francesco, the eyes are divided but not completely,
the lobes are connected by 3-4 rows of ommatidia.
JP, yes this one is very different that the type of G. aurata, especially the apical third of the elytra with the somewhat opposite sinuate dark marks.
Does anyone know G. quadridentatus Pic from Vietnam?

Espèce ou forme proche de Gyaritus auratus avec des bandes élytrales foncées moins larges et moins prononcées (surtout la post-médiane) que sur la forme typique (ou sur le Gyaritus de l'autre post) |

It is a Gyaritus (Gyaritini).
Are eyes entire or divided in two lobes? |
