Posted - 02/11/2015 : 15:20:15 In a message from Radim Gabris yesterday, regarding the progress of the revision of Bornean Morimopsini, he stated that there were several new taxa. I shouldn't provide any more details about his research, but the number of species there is somewhat more than is obvious to a casual examination. When the paper is completed (next year?) we must look at this beetle again. The name we have for it now might be correct.

Posted - 28/01/2013 : 19:39:41 According to Breuning's key, the former species should be Dolichostyrax longipes Aurivillius, 1913. This species differs in the missing of the pronotal spine and the enlarged scape. |

Here the original picture of Dolichostyrax moultoni Aurivillius, 1911 (here the description).
It does not seem to me that it fit well... moreover, they seem to me two different species... |

I also got in Malay Peninsula.
