Encore une autre espèce (ou deux?). De gauche à droite : PNG Okapa, PNG Simbu Kerowagi x 2, PNG Aseki Je n'ai pu trouver quelque chose de semblable, mais le dernier à droite est différent. |

Posted - 08/02/2017 : 02:14:47 And thanks again for confirmation of T. pseudosuperans females. I would be curious to see a photo of T. pseudoviridescens. Is it close to T. adspersarius ? Here is again a photo of the beetle alone.

Posted - 08/02/2017 : 00:47:00 correction: left 3 females of T. pseudosuperans right female of T. pseudoviridescens (but I still have a problem with T. adspersarius) |

Posted - 07/02/2017 : 21:06:17 I think the last one at far right may be T. adspersarius. From Papua Insects Foundation this is the only one of that group that shows male and female. And then I realize the pronotun is quite different depending of the sex. (Admitting of course these ID are OK) I would say that the three other ones at left are T. pseudosuperans, but again, according to the only photo I got from Papua Insects Foundation I see the pronotum is extremely different.... Should we suppose my specimens are females ?
Gressitt (Tmesisternini) on page 89 gives some details. Indeed, apex of elytra of the one at far right is different from the other ones.
In any case your opinion and suggestions are very useful. Thanks. |
