Avec la clé des Macrotomini, j'arrive à Strongylaspis, mais je ne crois pas qu'il s'agisse de ce genre... J'ai fait le tour des Macrotomini du site de Larry Bezark, sans succès. |

Posted - 22/04/2013 : 14:27:01 There have been countless, I mean countless! ... Callipogon from Mexico and Guatemala sold by dealers over the last 30-40 years. (I once saw a dealer's stock and he had at least 50 available from Mexico.. males/females some with lots of pubescence and some with almost none) I'm not sure anybody has ever been satisfied with a way to separate barbatum from senex, as the pubescence on the these beetles comes off very easily especially when aided by mites or whatever. And beckeri doesn't look like anything more than a female barbatum / senex without pubescence. Sorry to be a skeptic here, but this is what I think. Antonio has hinted that he may try to revise the group someday.
