A small Prioninae spec. from Cameroon,
20 mm.

Species of this genus can not be identified from the dorsal view. Nonetheless, basing on the locality, it can be only Apocaulus foveiceps (Harold, 1878) or A. dargei Quentin & Villiers, 1977. The black colouration suggests the former species.
Apocaulus, though superficially similar to Aulacopus reticulatus Audinet-Serville, 1832 (Macrotomini), belongs to Callipogonini and it is related to Eudianodes.
