Posted - 26/12/2017 : 23:44:04 It is not Protonarthron species with this pronotum. It's an Acmocerini : Acmocera joveri Lepesme & Breuning, 1952

Posted - 18/12/2017 : 20:27:49 Key of Protonarthron in Breuning,1940:532 give P. diabolicum Thomson, 1857. But I think it's species near this one. |

Posted - 10/11/2017 : 20:12:03 It looks like Acmocerini but with these antennae, perhaps it's Protonarthrini. I don't know all genus and species of this little tribe. |

Posted - 10/11/2017 : 11:30:06 Right! The body and pattern looks very much like an Acmocera, but the antenna does'nt. Quite confusing... |

Posted - 09/11/2017 : 11:45:58 Thank you! I agree on Acmocera and that conjux looks much like my specimen, but the antenna confuses me. I have not seen any conjux with those antenna. The antenna are pretty thick with lots of hair. I can't find any conjux which has the same type of hair, so maybe it is a similar looking species? |

Posted - 09/11/2017 : 10:39:09 This should be Acmocera, probably a morph of A. conjux. A variable species, some photos in this Forum can be similar. |
