INDIA, Karnataka This 26mm beetle was in a old collection (2005)...while re-pinning i almost broke the specimen to pieces, but managed to bring it back into whole again...this one has white hairs arising from pits allover the body... it looks similar to Thylactus angularis..any help with this... Gratitude |

Posted - 07/02/2015 : 16:07:18 I am as you in the doubt. There are small details which make me doubt. This species is actually very similar to T angularis and looking at it closer, I can see hairs on the lateral extremity of the tibias. Hairs which are not on the animals which I posted. |
