The photo of the type of C. sumatranus Franz, 1954 appears to be the same as what Konstantin posted to begin this discussion.
attached is a specimen I have. It is quite similar to C. lateripictus. Perhaps the article by Franz will have an explanation.

The key of such genus (and of the whole tribe as well) was published by Breuning (1950) in LONGICORNIA, Etudes et notes sur les Longicornes. Vol. 1. |

After a long reflection, I'd say I don't known Xylorhizini form Malacca without prothoracic teeth, except for Xylorhiza adusta.
My guess is that is a species not recorded/described from Malaysia yet, probably belonging to the genus Cyrtogrammus. |

This specimen is colllected in Malaysia on the Genting Higlands.
I also saw the same one at local diller's stock at Tanah Ratah. |
