Size 10-11 mm. I thought it to be Sophronica, but failed to find the species name despite its prominent appearance. |

Posted - 26/03/2015 : 22:04:14 Exactly! Sophronica bifoveata Aurivillius, 1914. The description fits very well, except the size. It is 8 mm according to Breuning, but all three specimens I have now are 10-11 mm.
There are a few other misleading theses in the Breuning's key, which hinder identification.
Thank you, Jérôme, for your help. |
