I have this species from from Sabah identified as Phlyarus (Bulbophlyarus) basirufipennis Breuning, 1961.

I have compared it to a photo of the holotype. But the holotype is from Myanmar, per TITAN, however the photo of the holotype which Holzschuh showed me said that the type was from Borneo. !!! I have a copy of the photo which Holzschuh made.

To complicate things further, this could be one of the species which Breuning described more than once, in different subgenera or genera.

Obviously, the whole genus should be re-examined.
