Unable to find this species in Beetles of Thailand.
Only photo I have unfortunately.
Hope someone can Id this.

This very characteristic species (black shoulders) is well present in the Gallery...
take a look among Lamiini or select Thailand in the field of country ;-)

I can not see the red markings on the pronotum on your photo. Are they variable?

Exactly!
The red spots might be mites (Acarina).
