16 à 18 mm. Hua Phan, nord Laos.
Avec Gressitt (1970), j'arrive à Niphona hookeri Gahan, 1900.
Un avis contraire ?

Non, elle correspond bien aussi à la description donnée dans la monographie du 1962.

J'ai un ami entomologiste (l. Valladares) qui l'a trouvé, en France, dans le Tarn dans un tuteur en bambou acheté en grande surface.

Sauf que ce n'est pas N. hookeri: cette espèce possède chez les mâles une dent obtuse à l'apex des tibias intermédiaires.

La sculpture du thorax est très semblable à celle-ci du Yunnan, qui est aussi un mâle (et sans dent au tibias). Il s'agirait alors de Niphona plagiata White, 1858.
Est-ce quelqu'un a la description de cette espèce ?
