Das sollte ein Männchen von Cylindrepomus rubriceps (Aurivillius, 1907) sein, die einzige Art mit rotem Kopf, die Breuning in seiner Tabelle meldet. Er ist in Borneo, Sumatra und Java verbreitet.
Yaheita Yokio and I are describing some new Dorcaschematini from Borneo and Sumatra. We started on this project about 2 years ago, and we should get our paper published by the end of this year.
Your photographed specimen does correspond to the type of "rubriceps". We have 4-5 new species from Borneo and 1-2 from Sumatra, in the genera Cylindrepomus and Olenecamptus.
At least one of the new species shows sexual dimorphism, and sizes of each species vary considerably.
