Hi,
Your Acalolepta seems close to mine (A. elongata ?), here.

Yes, indeed, but I have a series of 4-5 and contrary to your beetle they all have such a contrasting golden scutellum.

Sorry, a wrong button. I wanted to finish... yes, my beetle is similar to A. elongata, if one disregards a light transverse band in elytra of the beetle shown in BioLib.

In fact, it might be a female of A. elongata (Xavier posted a possible male).
Could you take a picture of the forehead?

mmmhm... the vertex has no points (it fits) but the eyes are too small.
It might be a female of Acalolepta cervina (Hope, 1831)... there are other pictures in the forum.

I am getting confused now. Following the key to Acalolepta in Rondon & Breuning "Lamiines du Laos" A. cervina has "Front ponctué" and "Lobes inférieurs des yeux moitiés plus longs que les joues" ("deux fois plus longs que les joues" in some other species, like A. elongata)

Yes I know: we have spoken about this topic here.
The keys of 1970 should not be considered.
