Ok. Do you know how C.H. has separated the 2 species ?
Breuning (1970) wrote B. medioviolacea for Laos. May be you have also this species in collection ?

Dear Xavier,

first its great you share some type pictures made in MNHN with us, thanks a lot.
Now I got the info to Bacchisa from C. H.:

Bacchisa guerryi (Pic, 1911) belongs to Plaxomicrus because male with curved middle tibia, large, wide spine at end of tibia and remarkable enlarged elytra behind.
B. medioviolacea Breuning, 1965 belongs to the Lasiophrys latifrons Gahan because of the very wide head.

greetings
Andreas

Thank you very much Andreas, and please, could you say "Hello and thanks" to C. H. that I do not know (may be one day ,...)

I hope to be able to make more pictures of types next summer. We all need them to go further !

I found a draw of Lasiophrys latifrons Gahan , but the link doesn't work today. Indeed, head is very large !
