It is the right size with the right pattern on the elytra to be D. hefferni. I have the holotype in my collection as well as an additional specimen identified by Dauber. I think this genus is too difficult to work with, as there are many specimens which can not be identified. Dauber has returned many specimens to me, and says " near alcellus" or "near algebraicus" or "near etc. etc"

I think D. hefferni is very close to D. borneensis Fisher.
