Celui-ci ressemble à Potemnemus detzneri Kriesche, 1923 mais il à beaucoup plus de granules et de plus grosse taille. West Papua, 32 mm. |

Thank you Xaurus. Here is the type of P. tuberifer, and I think it's not the same insecte than mine ?
I have found a key to the species of Potemnemus at the following link: http://www.cerambycoidea.com/titles/jong1945.pdf
I will have a look for my species... |

Hi Philippe,
you are right, of course, I haven't seen the Type before, I have id my spms in the Frey coll (Basel), with a spm det. by Breuning, quite normal again, Breuning determinations are often wrong. So just I don't know which one is our sps. You have tried the key ?
I post here 2 further type spms !

Hi Xaurus, With the key, I obtain P. tuberifer, but the key is incomplete, and I don't think my photo is tuberifer. Thank you for your photo, the first is trituberculatus and no bituberculatus !

Hallo Philipe, thanks, of course trituberculatus. What you mean, our spms maybe are P. ennevei De Jong, 1945, the description fits quite good. |

Hello Xaurus, Effectively, it could be ennevei. I see no other possibility with this key.

Potemnemus wheatcrofti Breuning, 1971 à mon avis. Philippe, as tu une localité plus précise? |
