Ressemble drôlement à la ssp. konduanum (entièrement foncée) de Metallichroma excellens. Ce qui m'étonne est la provenance: cette espèce est habituellement rapportée plutôt de la partie orientale d'Afrique. J'ai en collection la forme typique du Cameroun, et konduanum du Kenya et de Tanzanie.
