With Podaný's (1968) paper I reach Schmidtiana testaceicornis (Pic, 1926)... but I do not know if all these species are actually chromatic forms of only one.
According to Thomson, it might be a simple variety of S. strumosa (Pascoe, 1866).

This one is rather Schmidtiana malayana (Podany, 1968). It is a variety with black apex of elytra.
It is not yet mentioned in the literature but I have 4 female like this one and excluding the black color of the elytra, it is entirely similar to malayana.

I do not understand on which you have based your idea Philippe, considering that malayana shows
rounded elytral apex (truncate in testaceicornis),
black scape and antennal apex (yellow in testaceicornis),
black elytral half (elytral apex in testaceicornis).

Apparently, your perception of the appearance of malayana is not the same as the one in the new article !
In any case, testaceicornis has got half the black elytra.
