body length ~15 mm.

I'd say yes.
The only species described from the Chinese continent is Mimectatina truncatipennis (Pic, 1944) from Vietnam.
Unfortunately, I have no picture of this species to confirm this ID.
The name (truncati-pennis = with truncated elytra) seems to point to it.

Thank you Francesco! It IS tough to confirm, all the literature provided by TITAN for this species are no images with them.
