I recently added an Old World site to my website http://plant.cdfa.ca.gov/byciddb/wdefault.asp?w=n

The bottom link toggles back and forth between New and Old parts.

I know there are many species missing; I am slowly adding and updating taxa, and would appreciate seeing pdf files of forum members papers. Additionally, so far, I have only entered images for genera starting with A-E, as that is how I put the accumulated images into folders.

The images have been taken from various places (museums and websites) over the years and honestly, I never figured to make this site available.

So.... The question is, if there are images from members of this forum, can I ask permission to include your images? I have received permission from some photographers already. The species pages show the photographer (where known) so you will have credit.

If you want to answer me off the "forum" you can e-mail me at

LarryBezark@netscape.com

Thanks very much in advance.

More unknown Vietnamese bycid pics to follow.

Dear Larry,

you are welcome to use all pictures of the gallery of Cerambycoidea... and it would be great and fair if you could give credit to this site and to identifier....by considering the numerous pictures you have already inserted without any mention!

Yes, it appears to be down so far today, the Department is probably doing some server updates. Usually these things take a day or so, and they perform them on the weekends.
