22 mm. Hua Phan, nord-est Laos.
La seule espèce mentionnée par Gressitt (1970) est Sarmydus antennatus Pascoe, 1867.
Est-ce bien cette espèce ? |

Une autre possibilité serait Sarmydus loebli Drumont & Weigel, 2011 du Yunnan proche, dont je n'ai pas la description.
Ici une photographie de cette espèce : yeux rapprochés, pilosité du pronotum, côtes élytrales...Elle me semble la même.
Mais je pense que quelqu'un du forum peut m'aider ... |

| Yes I have, antennatus has 2 color antenna with basal segment dark but other pale light, the basal margine of pronotum form a middle lobe, not nearly strange as your specimen |

I agree with you, I don't see any difference between LIN's picture and my specimen. It seems to be the first record from Laos. |
