| Deux espèces ont été décrites depuis Breuning (1963), et comme ce n'est aucune d'elles...Mais il est sans doute trop tard pour la décrire . |

| Similosodus (Transversesodus) strandi (Breuning, 1938) is a species from "Sibirien" (= Sibérie in french), Russia, following Breuning monographia and Titan database. |

| I suspected this is a sort of a mistake. I am pretty sure there is no Similosodus in Siberia (if really Russian Siberia is meant). One can see the list of Cerambycidae of the former USSR here. |

Similosodus atrofasciatus (Pic, 1925) a le 3ème antennomère plus long que le 4ème!
Avec le 3ème antennomère aussi long que le 4ème -c'est la définition du sous-genre Transversesodus, cette espèce est en fait
