Yours and mine are similar. I look for ID of it, too.
I got my specimen that was attracted by street light in Malay Peninsula. |

According to me, the closest species is Prosopoeme nigripes Aurivillius, 1927 (here). This might be a new species. I move the picture in the hidden section. |

Last year I found the same sps in N-Vietnam by light, now I have prepared this single spms and I think its very near to Cristaphanes stiolatulus (Holzschuh, 2007). |

mmhmm... I have got a species of this genus and it seems that it fits. Do you think that Prosopoeme as well is closely related to Cristaphanes ? |

Francesco, I don't know Prosopoeme, maybe is near to Cristaphanes, please check f.e. the underside, coxae, pro- and mesosternal process etc., claws are from the same type, or ? I'll compare my Vietnam spms with type material of C. stiolatulus in March. |

2 years after, ...did you compare your Vietnam spms with type material of C. stiolatulus ? |

Prosopoeme is quite different! and very rare. It is possibly in Dorcasominae.
This specimen from Sabah matches holotype from Sulawesi excellently.

I meant to include the name Prosopoeme nigripes Aurivillius.
My photo of the holotype of Prosopoeme nigripes belongs to someone else so I can not post it. |

Its not C. striolatulus (Holzschuh, 2007) because "our" spms haven't the short humeral ridge (difficult to see at the left humerus at the cristulatus picture) typical for this genus, also in females, but the similarity is really quite amaizing. I attache a female of the questionable one and a spm of C. cristulatus (Auriv., 1916) both from N-Vietnam.

Ok, my specimen here from Laos is probably the same; but your specimen from Vietnam has quite long antenna for a female.

I have prepared my spm its really a female, but yours at the other topic is maybe a different sps, I see a short ridge at the humerus, or ? (please can you check), otherwise the short antennae are remarkable different to my spms, and then we have Beckey´s male (?) from Malayasia. - exciting altogether Sangamesh found a spms in north of India (maybe he can post it here too)

I added here 2 more pictures of my specimen female from Laos. I do not see any ridge, or I do not understand what you talk about . Very exciting, but hard to understand on pictures how many species we have here... |
